OverviewExperimental Running Photography Using Motion, Texture, and Natural Light
Director / Photographer: Jules Jimreivat
Created as a conceptual project for Terignota Running, this work explores motion and athleticism as the primary visual language. The imagery leans into abstraction, using motion blur, graphic design elements, and gritty texture to emphasize movement, musculature, and physical effort. Shot in open spaces of Eastern Washington with directional light, the athlete becomes both subject and form, allowing apparel to be highlighted through motion rather than static presentation. The result is a study in energy and repetition, designed to push running imagery beyond documentation and into expression.
