This is what my life looks like when I’m not working. And often when I am working too. I’m drawn to shooting action and sports, but ultimately what I love shooting is people; people doing things! When I’m using my inside voice, I sometimes call this “lifestyle"

Mountain biking was the first sport I ever shot. Boy do those photos still get my jazzed up almost a decade later. Back then I was obsessed with the hero shot.

Today I still love a good cover shot (who doesn't?!)

But I understand delivering photos for a client job means diversifying the photos set. Recently some of my favorite photos I've taken are the in between moments that support a greater story for the hero shot.

Among other things, I like to elevate stories of women. My work has won the Female Director’s Award at the Rocky Spirit Festival, and been shortlisted for the Sony Future Filmmaker Award in Culver City, as well as the Red Bull Illume photo competition. Work is usually followed by a cold beer.
