Winter Ski Campaign Photography and Video for Black Diamond

Shot for Black Diamond this winter ski campaign expanded the brand’s visual language beyond its typical Utah locations, bringing production to the Pacific Northwest for deeper snow and a fresh sense of place. I led photography and video capture near Stevens Pass along Highway 2, casting talent and centering the work on women’s ski apparel, an area that had been underrepresented in previous campaigns. The focus was on capturing powerful, credible imagery of women skiing in consequential conditions, balancing epic powder moments with clear product storytelling. The production required careful navigation of winter challenges including variable weather, snowpack assessment, and avalanche risk, with decisions driven by safety, timing, and conditions on the ground. The result is a winter campaign that delivers dynamic ski imagery while meaningfully expanding representation within Black Diamond’s outerwear storytelling.
