This film follows Brazilian immigrant and climber Maiza Lima’s mission to create her own space in the American climbing community. Maiza learns that not all of American climbing culture is something she wants to embrace - such as the unfortunate history of inappropriate, racist and sexist route names. As she physically creates a space for herself in the outdoors, she also builds the foundation for a new, inclusive landscape in American climbing.
